I spent the summer of 2015 in New York as a product developer at Ross Dress for Less, Inc. I experienced so much in New York and at Ross. I networked all over the fashion industry (which I will post later about) and learned so much about myself personally and professionally. At Ross I constructed their dinnerware and decorative housewares development packs and had the ability to work with several types of textiles and design a whole collection for Spring 2016. Another responsibility that I loved at Ross was the opportunity to trend forecast by outside comp shopping as well as online comp shopping and reading item sales for what style of products were selling.
