This summer I interned with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. on their men’s denim/twill/swim team. I was an apparel design intern working as an assistant designer role. I learned about the process of creative direction for multiple seasons. My favorite part was learning the techniques of denim such as; L/M/D washes, stone washes, bleaching, painting, destroying, sanding, PP chemical spraying, and more. I also had the amazing opportunity to design a 16-piece unisex denim collection for S/S 19 and present it to fantastic leaders in the company such as Aaron Levine.
